For Rebecca from Sweden that meant combining her work on a dairy farm with becoming a hoof trimmer. Rebecca became a certified hoof trimmer from BYS in Skare, Sweden, in December 2020. Today she splits her time between dairy farming and hoof trimming.
She trims in the Southern part of Sweden on farms ranging from 7 to 200 cows. The average herd is 70 cows.
Rebecca became a hoof trimmer, because as she puts it “I’m a hoof nerd” and I always want the best for the cows. This means always seeking new information, knowledge about the newest research and information to continuously improving her work.
