Salicylic acid is very effective in combating common hoof diseases such as digital dermatitis, dermatitis interdigitalis, limax and many others.
Disinfects
Acid is an irritant intended for topical use. Cleans and disinfects diseased places. Has analgesic effect.
Pain relief and eliminates inflammation
When applied to the affected area, salicylic acid helps the skin shed dead epidermis from the upper layer. In addition, it reduces redness, swelling and inflammation.

Application
Salicylic acid is an irritant that can be used topically. Traditional treatment involves thoroughly washing an infected hoof, using salicylic acid powder, and then applying a bandage.
The dressing should be checked and changed daily if needed.
Do not wrap the bandage too tight as this may cause injury.
The dressing should be changed and checked after approx. 3-5 days.
